[FCNYC] Offer: Fixer-Up'er Torch Lamp (Union Square)

 

I really love this lamp but after years of moving here and there it no longer functions very well. It holds 2 bulbs (i usually do 2 150-watt bulbs) and has one of those knobs that allows you to adjust the intensity of the light. It has a brushed metal finish and modern styling, with the light shooting up from the fixture.

here's what's wrong: The wiring has become so loose that it's extremely hard to turn the lamp on (you have to turn and turn the knob JUST SO to have any success) and the body of the lamp is quite wobbly/loose. If you are handy, you could fix the loose wiring and stabilize the body and it would be like new again.
