[FCNYC] OFFER: NAD 6100 cassette deck (UWS)

 

This is a 2-head cassette deck with Dolby B, C, and HX Pro, adjustable bias, "car" recording mode (compression for tapes to be played in noisy environments), a "trim" control (adjusts the highs before the Dolby decoding on playback, to compensate for any recording issues), and normal/CrO2/metal tape selection. It does not have autoreverse. I do not have the remote; I have the service manual and a manual for another NAD deck that describes most of the features, but I do not have the user manual for this deck. Comes in the original box.

Issues with this particular unit are that the capstan motor is a bit noisy (but does not appear to affect the sound), and sometimes a cam gets stuck and the door won't open to release the cassette until you take the cover off and nudge it back into place. The belts are ok. Also, I found the NAD style of controls a bit confusing.
