These are the small wooden boxes that Clementines (small easy-to-peel oranges) come in at our deli. they are open-topped crates of rough light-colored light-weight wood with the info about the oranges printed or label-pasted on their sides and ends.
They vary in size but are about 12" long, 7.5" wide and the sides range from 2.5 to 3.5" high, with taller corner supports (4 to 4.5" roughly) so they can be stacked when they are full.
I use some of these as flip-files for my cds, for sorting large amounts of mail into, and tacked up on the wall for shelves for small items such as vitamin and spice bottles.
I have 10 more than I need for the above purposes but don't want to throw real wood boxes into the land fill.
I'm near Hudson and Duane in Tribeca and work at home so almost any time will be fine but I prefer late afternoon or early evening pickup.
They don't weigh much but are bulky enough that they'll need to be packed into 2 or 3 or 4 large shopping bags for carrying, so you might want to be 2 people or have a car. I don't think they will go on a bike.
