[FCNYC] [OFFER] Laptop Celeron 1.80 GHz, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB Hard disk, Win XP Home - Midtown east

 

This is for an ASUS Desknote Celeron 1.80 with 256MB RAM, a 40GB HDD with a
genuine and legal Windows XP Home (OEM) installed. Our daughter has used it
for about 4 years, and has now got herself another system.

PLEASE NOTE : The large DISPLAY (14" I think) HAS A PROBLEM : shows clearly
only when it is kept at a particular and uncomfortable angle. Otherwise it
shows all kinds of colours, mainly green. Not fully sure, but this can
probably be fixed.

It has :

A DVD/CD Drive (NOT a burner).
Built-in Ethernet, Sound, Modem.
4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 Firewire ports, 1 PCMCIA slot, audio/mic ports.
SD and CF Card reader port.
Battery which currently runs for about 40-50 minutes with full charge.
Carrying case.
Mini Optical mouse.
Almost unused though old PCMCIA wireless network card - Xterasys WLAN
Cardbus PC Card (11 Mbps) : IEEE802.11b XN-2411b (hasn't been used for a
while, so I can't say it's working : but there's no reason I know of that it
isn't, either).
100-240V power adapter.

Apart from the display problem, everything else is in good condition.
Has to be picked up from building doorman between 9 AM and 4PM by Tuesday.
