some type of metal with carvings on the blade and black enamel on the handle. Does not come with a scabbard. I have tried to freecycle this sword twice before so I will not be sending out photos and/or detailed descriptions (if you need to know the weight of the sword come to my house with a scale) AND YOU MUST BE OVER 18 AND HAVE PHOTO ID in order to pick up this sword since it does qualify as a weapon.
