[FCNYC] OFFER: RCA HDTV 52" rear projection big screen TV. Rego Park, Queens

 

I have a big screen RCA 52" HDTV rear projection TV I'd like to give away. The TV has a problem with the convergence, which makes the screen look kind of distorted around the edges. I researched this problem online and youtube, and it seems to be a common problem with these types of TVs. There is a fuse that commonly blows caused by brittle solder. I ordered a couple of fuses, and attempted to repair it myself. Since I have no previous electronic repair experience, I was unsuccessful. So if you think you have the know how, you are welcome to give it a try for yourself. I still have the fuses. The TV is watchable the way it is, but if repaired, would be like new. Send me an email with your phone # and we can set up a time to pick up. The tv isn't very heavy, but it's big, so a mini van, or truck will be needed to transport.
