[FCNYC] OFFER: king platform waterbed. Manh (Riverside Drive) pickup

 

This platform bed was designed and used as a waterbed. But it can also be used as a platform bed with your regular mattress (or mattress + box spring). IMPORTANT: If you want to use it as a waterbed all you need is a new mattress (about $60) and water!

It's not a "designer" piece by any means but it's perfect if you just need a platform bed for cheap money.

California King. Solid wood, NOT particleboard. Platform surface is 1/2" plywood. Heater, thermostat and liner are included. The finish is a bit worn but the frame and platform are still very serviceable. The bed goes together easily with lag bolts (provided). Walnut stain. From a fastidious, immaculately clean, no pets, non-smoking household.

You'll need to pick it up with a car that can take a 84" long board. Width is not a problem. The widest piece is 24".
