[FCNYC] OFFER: Paper shredder (needs repair)/UES/10075

 

Aurora shredder AS702MX, desktop size approx 13"Wx10"Hx19"D, shreds up to 7 pages at a time and has a slot to shred credit cards.

This machine is not working, but I found a website that says it can be fixed. The problem is that there is an internal sensor that needs adjusting. The motor goes on, but the automated feed doesn't sense that a page is being fed. I think someone handy will be able to fix it, but I am not good at fixing.

Easy pickup from doorman on the upper east side. The machine is somewhat bulky but not very heavy.

Please email if you are interested and let me know when you can pick up. I hope that I can get this out of my apartment one day next week. Thanks.

[FCNYC] OFFER: Stainless pole lamp (Murray Hill)

 

Stainless steel pole lamp, 68" high, with three bulbs. Maybe 8 years old, nice looking, good condition. 60 watt max bulbs--use flourescents & you'll get more light.

Bottom bulb has always been balky. I can't get it to turn on, but maybe you can if you have any mechanical ability. (Oiling hasn't helped.) Never abused so wiring shouldn't be faulty. Anyways, the top two lamps cast plenty of light. I just wanted a different desk lamp.

At worst, you get a VCR player/recorder. At best, if you can figure out what is wrong (I'm not mechanical), you get a combo VCR/DVD player. Both was working fine until a few months ago. Pickup in Jackson Heights.

[FCNYC] Offer: Brother HL-2040 b&w laser printer, Gramercy/Manhattan

 

This has been a very reliable laser printer that I do not need anymore. It still works and has an unknown amount of toner left in its Brother brand cartridge. I've included its power cord and original manual. You will have to have your own USB cable. It will work with either a PC or Macintosh and you can download any necessary drivers from Brother's web site. I cannot help you with any installation questions so please do not ask. When it needs a new cartridge, Brother has some of the most reasonably price replacements and I would suggest using theirs.
